As usual I had a very nice breakfast today drove a few balls from the range thought about my friends in vancouver bc with the rain and the sun was pleasant today--I have been at this club for 30 years when ever I visit Vegas--yes it maybe a little dated but the people to play here do not rush my gandson and I to speed up are polite and this club is the same to me as the london hunt or the everglades club in palm beach---yes it maybe dated bit it is still a first class club and the players are great they do not have the so called semi pros all over you take your time and am looking to return with mygrandosn again at xmas---ps the homes around this club msut be a steal you should but one I know the price is right--thanks frank from Vancouver.. At the same time, there is nothing bad about the conditions . I'd consider it a good mid-level local's course. This premier golf club is just a short, two mile drive to the Las Vegas Strip. We saw the cart lady three times and apparently there is no drinkable water anywhere on the course. The group behind me initially acted as if they were entitled to play through me because they were part of the tournament, but then we joined up at a course employee's request after a few holes and they turned out to be really nice, great guys. Played on 08/04, teed off at 1:40 and were off by 4:30 as a twosome trailing a SNGA Tournament, so there were a lot of people coming and going. One of the best courses in the area, Las Vegas National is the beautiful championship course that was the proud host of the PGA Las Vegas Invitational from the later years in the 80s into the 90s.
